The 3rd General Assembly Meeting took place on 27-28 November at Milano, Italy.

On November 5th- 6th, the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions in collaboration with the REGION OF CRETE and CRETE VALLEY organized the seminar “Navigating the Future: Maritime Ports as Catalysts for the Energy Transition in Peripheral Maritime Regions” in Heraklion, Crete. During the seminar Dr. Kyriakos Panopoulos (CERTH) presented the CRAVE-H2 activities

CERTH organized a workshop entitled “Interact with Hydrogen Technologies: How, When, and Where?“ in the 88th TIF-HELEXPO on Friday, September 13, 2024 hosted by the General Secretariat for Research and innovation – GSRI. During the workshop Dr. Spyridon Economou, project coordinator (EUNICE), presented the CRAVE-H2 project activities.

The 2nd General Assembly Meeting was held on 14-15 May 2024 at Heraklion, Greece.

A conference on hydrocarbons, hydrogen and the energy transition took place in the Aquila Atlantis Hotel in Heraklion, on 16-17 December 2023. The conference was organized by the Eastern Crete department of the Technical Chamber of Greece. During this event, the geostrategic role of Crete as an energy hub was delineated. Dr Spyridon Ikonomou had the opportunity to present CRAVE-H2 as part of the hydrogen section of the conference

Excited to be part of the European pioneering Hydrogen technology event !

The European Union's hydrogen strategy and the pivotal role Greece can assume in Europe's future energy landscape took center stage at the second edition of the Hydrogen Conference, themed "Hydrogen Networks: Turning Vision into Action", organized by DESFA.

During the 4th panel on "The national Hydrogen Framework and decarbonization roadmap", participants referred to the enhanced hydrogen targets included in the revised National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP), analyzing the new additions to the Greek regulatory framework, as well as the renewed timetable for the decarbonization of the energy mix.

On June 23, 2023, the 1st Hydrogen & Green Gases Forum of Energypress magazine took place. Dr Kyriakos Panopoulos presented CRAVE H2.

High-ranking executives of EUNICE Energy Group, representatives of the research consortium, as well as representatives of institutional and academic bodies were present during the presentation of the pioneering European research project CRAVE H2, at the InterContinental Athenaeum, on Monday 12 June 2023.

EUNICE Energy Group is the coordinator and leader of the project consortium. The list of partners also encompasses Industrie De Nora, an Italian multinational company developing advanced electrolysis systems, Ballard Power Systems Europe, a manufacturer of PEM fuel cell products for a variety of markets and applications, and the Region of Crete, actively involved in the regulatory, social and political aspects of the project. Solmar Tours, the largest company in the tourism sector of Crete and one of the leading tour operators in the region, as well as Politecnico di Torino, one of Europe’s leading technological universities, the National Centre for Research and Technological Development (EKETA), and the research department of the Greek Electricity Distribution Network Operator Energy Distribution Network (DEDDIE).

Today, however, it is launching a pioneering European Green Hydrogen Project.
