


Scope
i-HY scope is to conduct cutting edge research services to the marching hydrogen industry , as well collaborating with them towards acquiring completive grands. i-HY will remain open to its national character able to encompass additional expertise and add regional & national level assistance to the development of H2 technologies, foster new collaborations with companies (those already declared interest and more) & provide hands-on training and education programs for the emerging Greek hydrogen workforce.
Objectives
The main objectives and thematic priorities of i-Hy are fully aligned with the objectives of RIS3 and tailored to the specific needs and characteristics of the Greek hydrogen ecosystem. Those are:

Advancing hydrogen technologies and sustainable energy solutions as well as improve the uptake of hydrogen technologies;

Fostering innovation, technology transfer and cross-sectoral collaboration across leading research institutes, industries on a national and international level;

Contributing to national and international research and innovation agendas through dedicated strategic priorities, campaigns and focus on innovation aspects.

A 250-500 kW fuel cell and electrolysis system test bench equipped with NH3 handling and advanced diagnostics facilities with 350 bar storage capacity of 500-1000kg H2.
